Problems with bins left on the street?

You may not be aware of this, but it is an offence for domestic bins to be left permanently on the footpath. If your street is having a problem of this sort and a word in the ear of the bin owner has no effect, or not possible, then call the City Council Community Waste Worker. They will start off by putting a sticker on the offending bin but the resident can be fined if necessary. If you have a problem of this sort, phone 0845 608 0919 and ask for the Community Waste Worker.
